Since 2009, Gateway Community Outreach has been the weekly recipient of deliveries from Project Lifeline through the Jim Moran Foundation, and the United Way.
This week we received cantaloupe, yucca, fresh pineapple, apples, and green beans for the clients. Every week its different. Sometimes chicken mac and cheese even ice cream!” says staff member Denise Chavez.
This was Amy’s first time at the Thanksgiving Outreach. “It’s a good help I wasn’t going to be able to do Thanksgiving without this. It’s God’s will coming through.” she said with a smile.
